Bud Walters acquired his first pointer
over 50 years ago. Since then, he has bred, trained and campaigned numerous champions. In recent years, Bud and Shirley have moved their establishment from Illinois to Texas. They are continuing to compete as amateurs in AF Championships throughout the United States with their Pointers. Shirley Walters began her field career in Colorado with Weimaraners. Her kennel name, Weiner Schnitzel, is behind all the top field Weimaraners.
